Teaching Strategies Gold is the tool utilized
to administer ongoing assessment for all center based and home based Head Start and Early Head Start children birth to age
5. In order for children to develop and enhance skills at their individual level and meet their fullest potential objectives in relation to the following domains have been selected for implementation. Assessment results are analyzed to ensure progress in all areas of development. Teachers,
parents, guardians, care givers, school district personnel, and stakeholders discuss this information during home visits,
school conferences, parent meetings, visits to centers and community events. Individual Learning Plans and Individual Observation
Records are available for care givers and parent input. All information is considered confidential and shared only with parent
permission.
