IRONTON, Ohio, October 6, 2026. The Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy announces its sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for the 2026–2027 school year.
CACFP is a federal nutrition program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Through it, eight Academy schools serve children meals and snacks planned to USDA nutrition standards, at no cost to enrolled families.
CACFP rules require every sponsor to publish this notice each year. It lists the schools taking part, the income guidelines for free and reduced-price meals, and the USDA nondiscrimination statement.

Income guidelines for free and reduced-price meals
These federal guidelines are in effect from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Find the row for the number of people in your household, then the column that matches how often you are paid. A household earning no more than the amount shown in the first table is eligible for free meals. A household earning no more than the amount in the second table is eligible for reduced-price meals.

USDA nondiscrimination statement
